Our yearly dues are $25, which help support things like group events, social activities, and general club operations. That said, they are absolutely not required to join. Everyone is welcome to run or walk with us regardless of ability to pay. We want to keep the group accessible, inclusive, and low-barrier, so dues are entirely optional and appreciated but never expected.
I voluntarily choose to participate in club runs, walks, volunteer activities, and social events, understanding they may be hazardous. I confirm I am in good health, medically able, and properly prepared. I assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to falls, contact with others, traffic, weather conditions, and environmental hazards. I agree to follow all club guidelines and official decisions, including safety-related instructions.
I release and waive all claims against Baltimore Frontrunners, International Front Runners, sponsors, and their representatives for any injury, loss, or liability arising from my participation, including those caused by negligence. I acknowledge that event details may change at any time and waive any related claims.
I grant permission for the use of my name, image, and likeness in event-related media.
I agree to follow CDC guidance regarding communicable diseases, including COVID-19, and acknowledge the risk of exposure, illness, or injury, including serious outcomes, as a result of participation.
This Code of Conduct serves as a foundation for how we show up for one another during runs, social events, races, and in the broader Baltimore community.
As Baltimore Frontrunners members, we commit to:
Always treat fellow members with respect, kindness, and inclusivity, regardless of pace, experience, identity, or background.
Show appreciation for the volunteers and leaders who generously give their time to support our runs, events, and community initiatives.
Refrain from any behavior that is threatening, intimidating, or violent toward another member, volunteer, or member of the public. Individuals with a history of violence that poses a risk to others may be restricted from participation.
Use respectful and inclusive language at all times. Discrimination, harassment, or derogatory comments based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or any other identity will not be tolerated.
Respect personal boundaries. Unwanted physical contact, harassment, or inappropriate behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited. Individuals found to have committed serious offenses, including sexual misconduct, may be permanently barred from the club.
Represent Baltimore Frontrunners with integrity during races and events. This includes following all race rules, avoiding unfair advantages (such as course cutting or doping), and demonstrating good sportsmanship when wearing club gear.
Be mindful that we share public spaces across Baltimore including parks, neighborhoods, and waterfronts and act as respectful ambassadors of both the club and the city.
